Cantine di Dolianova

Cantine di Dolianova was established in 1949 to continue and promote that tradition. In those years, Sardinia was still very behind the times and the island was quite different to how it is today.

So many years of history have taught the winery that quality cannot be improvised. Cantine di Dolianova is ready to look to the future, with the strength and awareness that 70 years of history has brought, along with the wisdom of an area that boasts 3,000 years of wine-making tradition.

DOLIANOVA – In Cantos Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Riserva

Ruby red with light garnet hues as it ages.
Intense, long-lasting, ethereal, heady, with balsamic notes and hints of forest fruits.
Full-bodied, round and velvety on the palate. The finish is very persistent and clean.

Almost matchstick minerality is the first thing to hit your nose, followed up by some plum flesh and skin. Then a spicy vanilla note creeps through and it all continues on the medium-bodied palate. Never manages to be fruity, rather it’s very savory indeed, down to the almost salty coating to the firm, lightly velvety tannins. Unusual, but very tasty. Like it. Drink now.

DOLIANOVA – Caralis Semi Sec Dry Sparkling Malvasia Sarda

Straw yellow with pleasant greenish reflections that are noticeable due to the refined and persistent perlage.
Typical of the grape with delicate and fragrant notes of yellow fruit.
Lively with a good balance of acidity and sweetness on the palate. It has the slightly bitter aftertaste characteristic.
